Kalico Kitchen

From the beginning...

Kalico Kitchen was started by husband and wife, Bill and Sara McHenry, in 1986. After the restaurant was purchased, Bill and Sara remodeled. John and Jackie later purchased Kalico Kitchen in 1991 from the McHenry’s. Over the years Kalico Kitchen has kept its home-style feeling where you can take families and friends to enjoy a meal out. Today, Kalico is well known for the best Broasted chicken, hamburgers and homemade pies in Chico.

 With customers being both new and regulars, Kalico’s staff is always eager to please each and every one. Having a variety of selections on the menu brings customers coming back over and over again to try something new. Now offering a customizable salad bar, individuals are able to choose what they would like on their salad and it has become a most popular option when visiting. We deliver in a clean environment, great food, reasonably priced and fast & friendly staff.
